Excellent productivity app for organizing your To-Do's

As summer creeps to an end and September nears, To-do' lists are already quickly fill up. Many of us picked up an iPad, iPhone, or some additional device to help us manage our lives better, but for some, this has inadvertently increased complexity rather than solved it. Which device do we use for our calendar? Which device do we use for our to-do's? One recent coaching client exclaimed, why can't my Blackberry just talk to my iPad.

I've been on the hunt for a better way to manage the multitude of tasks and to-do's that never seem to stop growing, along with the challenge of owning multiple productivity devices. I've tried numerous solutions ranging from the Action Method, google tasks, using my outlook, to good old post-it notes. The greatest problem I've experienced with these approaches is that they are either not built for multi-platform mobility, are not capable of synchronizing with each other, and are not easily accessible when I'm on the road.

Recently I stumbled upon a productivity App called Wunderlist and I'm extremely pleased with its simple and intuitive user interface, its streamlined capabilities across platforms, and a feature that enables users to set up numerous lists such as "work," "family," and "finances." I leave the app open on my desktop and whenever a new to-do is added, it is automatically updated on my iPhone and iPad. Every morning Wunderlist sends me an automated email with any to-do's that are currently open. This simple reminder of my tasks ensures nothing gets away from me and also frees up valuable mind-space that would otherwise be allocated for thinking about everything I have to do! I presume the best part of all is that the app is free!

I look forward to sharing valuable apps for productivity and organization in the months ahead, and wish all of our loyal customers and blog readers an enjoyable rest of the summer.
